TEMPORARY MEMBERS REGISTERED CLUBS ACT 1976

Under the registered Clubs Act the following person may be admitted as temporary members of the club if the rules of this club so provide.

A person whose ordinary place of residence is in New South Wales and is more than 5 km’s from the registered club. A person who is a member of another registered club with similar objects to those of this club. Any member of another registered club who is attending this club for the purpose of taking part in an organised sport or competition as provided in Section 30 (10) of the Registered Clubs Act. Temporary Members (other than those who are admitted pursuant to Section 30 (10) will have to complete and sign the temporary members register each day they attend the club.

The rules of a registered club (in the subsection referred to as ‘the host club’ shall, unless it’s rules provide that the provisions of this subsection do not apply to that club, be deemed to include a rule that a full member of any other registered club who, at the invitation of the governing body or of full member of the host club, attends on any day at the premises of the host club for the purpose of participating in an organised sport or competition to be conducted by the host club on that day shall be a temporary member of the host club from the time of that day when he or she so attends the premises of the host club until the end of that day.

DEFINITION OF A GUEST

‘Guest in relation to a full member, a provisional member or an honorary member of a club, means a person: whose name and address, countersigned by the member, are entered in a register kept for the purpose by the club; and who at all times while on the club premises, remains in reasonable company of the member; and who does not remain on the club premises any longer than a member

MINORS:

Children and Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted entry to the premises unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
A re-sponsible adult in relation to a minor is any of the following.

  • a parent
  • a step-parent or guardian
  • an adult who has parental rights, duties and responsibilities in relation to the minor whilst the minor is on licensed premises or in a public place.
  • All patrons are required to provide acceptable evidence of age where there is any doubt they are under 18.
  • Minors must not attend bar areas unless in the attendance of a responsible adult

  • Minors will not be served alcohol.

  • Individuals procuring drinks for minors will be removed from the premises.
  • Minors are only permitted in the USMC between 4pm and 9pm and are not permitted in the Poker Machine area, or TAB area. Children are to be accompanied at all times.

THE NARROMINE SHIRE LIQUOR ACCORD

The Narromine USMC abides by the local Liquor Accord. Acts of violence or anti social behaviour in and around the club premises will result in a 12 MONTH EXCLUSION

Please help us make this a safe and friendly environment for you and your guests to enjoy.

If you fail to leave the club when requested a $550 will apply and a 12 month exclusion imposed. Serious matters may result in an immediate lifetime ban.

Note: Membership may be declined if a member has previously been asked to leave the club for offensive conduct
or known in the community to cause trouble.
